Welders & Fabricators Wanted – Full-Time

Wasea Metal Industries is a well-established Alberta company with over 45 years of excellence in custom metal fabrication. We build everything from metal buildings and skids to custom staircases and complex structural projects. Our work is varied, challenging, and rewarding — no two days are the same!

We’re looking for skilled Welders and Fabricators who love hands-on work, take pride in quality, and thrive in a busy shop environment. If you’re a motivated team player who enjoys diverse projects and building things that last, we want to hear from you.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Certified Journeyman Fitter or 3rd Year Apprentice
  • Current CWB certification in MCAW or FCAW (all positions)
  • Strong experience reading and interpreting blueprints, welding symbols, and material cut lists
  • Experience in aluminum welding preferred
  • Reliable, productive, and safety-focused
  • Able to work both independently and as part of a team with minimal supervision
  • Must have reliable transportation to our shop (located off Glenmore Trail & Range Road 283, south of Chestermere, AB)
