Union rates apply and all benefits are provided through the International Union of Operating Engineers, Local 115.

Compensation

  • $32.23-$40.45 per hour, depending on experience and education
  • Vacation pay: 13% of your hourly wage
  • Benefits eligibility: After completing 250 hours
  • Pension contributions: $5.15 per hour worked

What You’ll Do

Heavy Equipment Operator

  • Operate rock trucks, loaders, excavators, dozers, graders & more
  • Dig trenches, fine grade, load trucks
  • Inspect and maintain machinery
  • Work safely and efficiently on active civil job sites

Pipe Layer

  • Install water, storm, and sanitary pipe systems
  • Operate compaction equipment
  • Handle site prep and trenching
  • Maintain high safety standards and compliance with provincial regs

What You’ll Bring

  • 3+ years of relevant experience
  • Civil construction experience an asset
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Reliable, safety-focused, and self-motivated
