Pilot Car Dispatcher

Full-Time | JNB Heavy Haul

JNB Heavy Haul is looking for a pilot car dispatcher to join our team coordinating in house pilots for specialized heavy haul and oversize loads across North America.

This is a fast-paced role that requires strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. No two days are the same.

What You’ll Do

  • Act as the central communication point between in-house pilots and dispatch
  • Schedule and assign in house pilots while maximizing efficiency
  • Review licensing & training for all in house pilots
  • Process and manage pilot car miles for each trip
  • Ensure in-house pilots are properly equipped before dispatch
  • Assist in recruiting/selection of new pilots to the JNB team
  • Maintain in-house pilot schedules, including vacation tracking
  • Coordinate maintenance scheduling for in-house pilot vehicles
  • Work with dispatch systems and office software (email, Excel, Word, PDF platforms)
  • Contribute to a high-accountability, fast-moving dispatch environment
