Description

An Alberta-owned company, CanWest Air primarily serves the province of Alberta, connecting remote communities with critical services. We are proud to operate one of the largest and newest fleets of Cessna C208Bs and Beechcraft King Airs in Canada. These aircraft provide CanWest Air pilots the unique opportunity to fly state-of-the-art aircraft across a wide variety of locations.

CanWest Air provides its pilots with exciting career progression opportunities. Based on the most recent information, the time to upgrade to a C208B Caravan Captain is 1-2 years, and to upgrade to a King Air Captain typically takes 3-4 years. The Company also offers comprehensive benefits, including an RRSP matching program and an annual bonus plan.

CanWest Air pilots will be assigned to operate out of the ten crew bases: Edmonton, Calgary, Grande Prairie, Fort McMurray, Peace River, Lac La Biche, Slave Lake, Fort Vermilion, High Level, or Medicine Hat and typically begin their career as a First Officer on the Cessna C208B.
