Position: Class G Driver
Job Type: Temporary to Permanent
Pay Rate: $21.00–$23.00/hour, depending on experience
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM

Job Summary

We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Class G Driver to join our client on a temporary-to-permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely operating company vehicles, making local deliveries and pickups, and supporting general warehouse and operational activities as required.

Job duties:

  • Complete daily deliveries in a safe, efficient, and professional manner.
  • Provide occasional support with warehouse duties as required.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Maintain good knowledge of local routes and roadways.
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
  • Deliver and safely offload materials at customer job sites and shops.
  • Maintain the company vehicle in a clean, safe, and roadworthy condition.
  • Operate the vehicle safely and ensure all required documentation is properly maintained and carried at all times.
  • Pick up customer returns and purchase orders from vendors as required.
  • Assist with loading, unloading, and securing materials for transportation.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the immediate supervisor.
  • When not making deliveries, provide support to the warehouse team as required.

You Must Have:

  • Minimum 2 years of delivery driving experience, including loading and unloading materials.
  • Valid Ontario Class G Driver’s Licence with a clean driving record/abstract.
  • Excellent time-management and organizational skills.
  • Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to safely lift and handle materials weighing up to 50 lbs.

Nice to Have:

  • Strong knowledge of local routes and surrounding areas.
  • Previous experience using electronic signature capture devices.
  • Knowledge of plumbing and HVAC products

Pay: $21.00-$23.00 per hour
