Join the Toronto Arts Academy Family!

Toronto Arts Academy is expanding our midtown location and we want passionate piano teachers with academic or professional performance experience to join our award-winning team!

Responsibilities:

  • Provide private and occasional group piano lessons to students of various ages and skill levels
  • Create individualized piano lesson plans based on students' goals and abilities
  • Teach music theory, piano technique, and performance skills
  • Foster a positive and supportive learning environment
  • Monitor student progress and provide feedback for improvement
  • Prepare students for recitals, competitions, and exams
  • Collaborate with parents to ensure students' success

Requirements:

  • Experience in teaching or tutoring, especially with children
  • Professional or academic experience in piano and/or voice
  • Strong knowledge of piano technique and music theory
  • Ability to educate and inspire students of all ages
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Patience, creativity, and a passion for teaching music
  • Early childhood education background is a plus
