Company Overview

Bravo Academy for the Performing Arts was founded in 2007 and is dedicated to delivering high-quality performing arts education to students of all ages and skill levels. Bravo Academy offers private music lessons in voice, piano, guitar, and ukulele and musical theatre programs for beginner to advanced students. Our mission is to foster confidence and creativity through expert instruction in music, theatre, and dance, guided by passionate performers and educators.

Summary

Join Bravo Academy for the Performing Arts as a Piano Instructor in our one-of-a-kind North York location. In this role, you will inspire students by sharing your musical expertise and nurturing their love for piano playing, contributing to our mission of building confidence through performing arts education.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging piano lessons tailored to each students' skill levels.
  • Develop personalized lesson plans that promote musical growth.
  • Foster a positive learning environment encouraging creativity and confidence.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Prepare students for recitals, exams and festivals.
  • Maintain a safe and supportive atmosphere.
  • Organize recitals or performances to showcase student progress.
  • Stay updated with current teaching methods and musical trends.
  • Qualifications
  • Experience teaching piano to students of various ages and levels
  • Strong musical background with proficiency in piano performance.
  • Prefer an ARCT/Diploma or Bachelor's degree.
  • Excellent communication skills and patience.
  • Ability to create engaging lesson plans.
  • Experience working with children is highly desirable.
  • Comfortable communicating with parents.
  • Passion for performing arts education.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students.
