Full job description

We are hiring for a relief part-time (0.60 FTE) Physiotherapist at the Penticton Health Centre. This position will provide coverage until October 31, 2026, or the return of incumbent.

Days of Work: Monday, Wednesday, Friday
Shift times/Hours of work: 08:00 to 16:00

About the role:
The Physiotherapist functions both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team, delivering comprehensive physiotherapy services. These include assessment, treatment planning and implementation, program development, consultation, equipment prescription, and education for clients and/or their caregivers to support functional independence and optimize health outcomes.

In addition to clinical responsibilities, the Physiotherapist contributes to departmental and professional goals by participating in quality assurance initiatives, meetings, research, and educational activities. They also provide guidance and direction to the rehabilitation assistant working within the team.
