Interior Designer

Harwood Design Builders – Winnipeg, Manitoba

Harwood Design Builders, Manitoba’s premier custom home builder and Master Renovator, is growing our team. We are currently seeking a talented and motivated Interior Designer to join our collaborative and creative environment.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on some of Manitoba’s finest custom homes and renovation projects while contributing to a company known for exceptional craftsmanship, innovative design, and outstanding client service.

Key Responsibilities

Design Responsibilities

  • Attend site visits with Senior Designers and Owners, including assisting with site measurements
  • Manage client files and maintain ongoing client communication
  • Prepare and complete design drawing packages
  • Select materials, finishes, fixtures, and product specifications
  • Maintain and organize the material and sample library
  • Coordinate and organize before-and-after project photography
  • Utilize SketchUp or Chief Architect software (experience with Chief Architect is considered a strong asset)
  • Office & Marketing Support
  • Assist with social and print media content, including Instagram, Facebook, website content, and magazine features
  • Organize, print, and assemble documentation for job sites, clients, and office use
  • Coordinate and receive office deliveries and materials

Qualifications

  • Interior Design education or related experience preferred
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • Proficiency in SketchUp and/or Chief Architect software, or willingness to learn
  • Passion for residential design and construction
