Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Custom Picture Framer to join our creative team. In this role, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality, custom framing solutions that enhance and preserve artwork, photographs, and memorabilia. Your expertise will ensure each piece is beautifully showcased while providing excellent customer service. This position offers an exciting opportunity to combine craftsmanship with artistic expression, delivering personalized framing that exceeds client expectations.

Responsibilities

  • Measure and interpret client specifications, artwork dimensions, and framing options using precise techniques.
  • Select appropriate materials such as moldings, mats, glass, and backing boards to match design requirements and protect the artwork.
  • Computer skills/ Lifesaver Framing POS
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all tools and materials are properly stored and maintained.
  • Provide expert advice to customers on framing options, preservation techniques, and maintenance for their artwork.
  • Proven experience in custom framing or related craftsmanship fields such as woodworking or cabinetry.
  • Familiarity with tools such as hand tools, power tools, under pinner, and measuring devices.
  • Experience with construction estimating and project planning is advantageous.
  • Ability to lift heavy materials safely and perform physical tasks requiring manual dexterity.
  • Excellent attention to detail combined with strong organizational skills.
