AS A SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER YOU WILL:

Work with an entire team of professionals to develop and execute social strategies for a variety of projects. This role is about more than just creating social media posts. It is about helping to create high-level assets that clearly communicate our clients’ messaging and capture their audience.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

We are seeking a social media manager experienced at working with a team to set up efficient social strategies with a range of outcomes.

The duties include:

• Manage multiple internal and external social accounts, including, but not limited to, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, GMB, etc.
• Manage client feedback and gain client approval for posts through tools such as HeyOrca.
• Work with external partners to develop custom social media strategies and plans that drive online success.
• Direct the execution of social media strategies by collaborating with our team of marketing advisors, copywriters, and designers.
• Take the lead in designing and producing high-quality assets (graphics, templates, and short-form video) for posting across various social media platforms.
• Work closely with our digital analytics team on integrating social media effectively into online campaigns.
• Create quarterly social analytics reports and regularly report to advisors about strategy outcomes.
• Innovate and present new social ideas, bringing fresh visual concepts to the table.
• Routinely utilize current social trends while creating posts that fit into a developed social strategy.
• Have the ability to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

SKILLS AND EDUCATION

• A diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, Graphic Design, or equivalent.
• A minimum of one year of experience in a similar role will be considered an asset.
• Experience using multiple social platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, GMB, etc.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (specifically Photoshop, Illustrator, and Premiere Pro/After Effects).
• Strong graphic design and video editing experience with a portfolio demonstrating social-first content.
• Experience in audience identification and audience building in a variety of industries.
• The ability to determine success levels of social strategies (both paid and organic) and KPIs, and report on performance on a quarterly basis.
• Post-secondary credentials in Digital Media, Graphic Design, or similar are assets, but proven experience will be considered.
• Knowledge of current digital marketing, visual communication, and social trends.
• Self-motivated and able to multitask on multiple projects.
• Strong communication and collaborative skills.
• Ability to work in a team setting and help the team where needed.
