Job description and tasks

In addition to regular teaching responsibilities, the role also includes:

• Involvement in pedagogical days organized by the College
• Participation in departmental meetings
• Involvement in student-focused activities such as field trips, competitions, and year-end Graduate Exhibition.
• Performing other department related administrative duties

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an appropriate field
• Five (5) years experience as a working professional photographer as demonstrated by a portfolio of work of high professional quality using contemporary photographic technologies
• Thorough knowledge of current operating systems and applications used in commercial photography an asset
• Teaching experience at the College level an asset
• Excellent English communication skills essential
• General knowledge of French is an asset.

Note: The selection committee may, exceptionally, recommend to the College that pertinent additional professional and/or industrial experience be considered in lieu of the stated minimum educational requirement. Candidates to be considered under this option must have completed at least the equivalent of a College level diploma (DEC). Education superior to the stated minimum requirement may be substituted for professional / industrial experience at the discretion of the selection committee.
