As an Content Creator/Digital Media Specialist a typical day might include the following:

  • Plan, create, and publish engaging digital content across all dealership social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, etc.)
  • Capture high-quality photo and video content, including behind-the-scenes footage across Sales and Service departments
  • Develop original content ideas (reels, short-form videos, campaigns, storytelling) to increase engagement and brand awareness
  • Collaborate with sales staff and internal teams to produce creative, on-brand content
  • Work closely with the Service department to highlight operations, repairs, and customer experiences through visual storytelling
  • Edit and produce content using tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut, CapCut, and Photoshop
  • Maintain and manage a structured content calendar with daily/weekly deliverables
  • Monitor social media trends and adapt content strategies to stay relevant and competitive
  • Ensure consistent branding, tone, and messaging across all digital platforms
  • Track performance metrics and provide updates to Marketing and Digital Managers
  • Identify opportunities to improve social media presence, reach, and engagement

This job might be right for you if you have:

  • Strong photography and videography skills (automotive experience is an asset)
  • Proficiency in editing tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut, CapCut, Photoshop)
  • Highly creative mindset with the ability to generate fresh content ideas consistently
  • Ability to work independently and take full ownership of content creation
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage a content calendar
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced dealership environment
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Valid G Driver’s License (required)
  • Willingness to work flexible hours when needed (events, launches, etc.)
  • Attend and capture off site events, sponsorships, and community engagements
  • Take initiative without constant supervision
