Job Outline

We are seeking a creative, organized, and results-driven Marketing Specialist to support the growth of our business. The Marketing Specialist will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies that increase brand awareness, generate qualified leads, showcase completed projects, and strengthen relationships with homeowners and commercial clients. This role combines digital marketing, content creation, social media management, event coordination, and customer engagement to drive business growth.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

Marketing Strategy & Campaign Management

  • Work with upper management in the development and implementation of marketing strategies and initiatives.
  • Create and manage marketing campaigns to generate construction leads.
  • Monitor campaign performance and recommend improvements based on results and market trends.

Digital Marketing

  • Manage the company website, ensuring content is current, accurate, and optimized for search engines.
  • Manage online advertising campaigns, social media advertising, and local directory listings.
  • Track website traffic and lead generation metrics.

Content Creation & Brand Management

  • Create and store engaging content for social media, case studies, blogs, newsletters, brochures, and promotional materials.
  • Co-ordinate pre, mid and post construction photography and videography on site (including staging)
  • Request and track client testimonials (video and written)
  • Ensure brand consistency across all marketing channels and company communications.
  • Collaborate with project managers and field staff to gather project updates and success stories.

Social Media Management

  • Develop and maintain a content calendar for social media platforms (All platforms Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter etc.)
  • Create, publish, and update posts that highlight completed and ongoing projects, company expertise, and customer experiences.
  • Monitor social media engagement.

Lead Generation & Customer Engagement

  • Support Sales Proposals with copy writing and formatting.
  • Support lead generation activities and coordinate marketing efforts with Sales.
  • Manage online reviews and reputation initiatives.
  • Assist with customer referral programs and client retention campaigns.
  • Analyze lead sources and recommend strategies to improve conversion rates.

Events & Community

  • Coordinate participation in awards including applications, calendar tracking, event participation, formal communication, and content upkeeping.
  • Coordinate participation in home shows, trade shows, networking events, and community sponsorships.
  • Assist in organizing company events, client appreciation activities, and promotional campaigns.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • 2–5 years of marketing experience, preferably in construction, home improvement, real estate, or related industries.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, social media platforms, and content marketing.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly organized with a strong attention to detail.
  • Creative thinker with strong visual eye
  • Proficiency with graphic design tools such as Canva, Publisher, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop) is an asset.

Working Conditions
