Looking for a Photographer with PHOTOGRAPHY EXPERIENCE for gig based work.

You are required to have your own camera, and must have experience with CORPORATE event photography. MUST BE AVAILABLE WEEKDAYS.

This is a contract/gig based role with occasional shifts.

Polar Ice Photobooth is an upscale photo booth company that specializes in corporate events and weddings. We specialize in aesthetically appealing set ups, so we're looking for people that have an eye for high standards of visual appeal. We‘ve done corporate events for some big brands including Delta Air Lines, Amazon, Cashmere Tissue Fashion Show, Invictus Games, Pepsi Co, and others.

WHAT IS THE ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

You will be the energetic representative of our company and will be trained to set up lighting and camera equipment for a photoshoot, and take pictures. Additional tasks ad/hoc tasks as required.

  • Arrive at the event venue
  • Set up backdrop
  • Set up light stands and lighting, ensure all godox flashes are synced to same channel
  • Set up camera, tethered to a laptop or other device
  • Test various lighting settings to find optimal light on subjects
  • Pose various guests that come into the photo op
  • Rub off your high-energy on the guests and assist them in taking awesome pictures
  • Take down equipment/backdrop
  • Commitment is flexible
  • Represent the brand in an energetic and positive manner

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR

  • MUST BE AVAILABLE WEEKDAYS (GIG WORK)
  • Must have valid G or G2 license and access to a vehicle is required, must be willing and able to drive to events in GTA
  • Experience in a customer service environment is a huge asset
  • Be able to show a HUGE smile and demonstrate enthusiasm
  • Must be "tech-savvy" with and able to comfortable diagnose technical issues such as printer connections and wifi troubleshooting
  • Eye for clean, elegant setups

COMPETENCIES

  • Attendance/Punctuality: must be present and on time, if not, early for all events
  • Enthusiasm & Customer Service: must be super enthusiastic to represent our brand and able to provide to make people feel happy with your awesome customer service
  • Technical familiarity/problem solving: must be good with technology to diagnose problems that may arise
  • Responsive: must be responsive in a timely manner to inquiries and scheduling requests

PAY

$80 - $100 an hour.
