As a Marketing Coordinator, you will play a key role in shaping our hotel’s online presence and guest engagement. From showcasing unforgettable stays to highlighting vibrant food & beverage experiences, you’ll bring our brand to life across digital platforms. With a strong eye for content, storytelling, and analytics, you’ll help drive awareness, engagement, and revenue through thoughtful, creative marketing.
This is a dynamic, part-time role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment and enjoys blending creativity with strategy. You’ll collaborate with teams across the hotel to ensure our messaging is consistent, engaging, and aligned with business goals. As a Marketing Coordinator you will:
- Create Engaging Content – Capture and produce high-quality photo and video content that highlights hotel experiences, events, and dining offerings. Develop compelling social media posts, reels, and stories that reflect our brand voice and attract both local and visiting audiences.
- Manage Digital Platforms – Oversee day-to-day activity across social media channels, ensuring content is published consistently and aligns with marketing calendars. Monitor comments, messages, and online reviews, responding professionally and in a timely manner.
- Tell Our Story – Write engaging, on-brand copy for social media, blogs, and website updates. Your strong writing skills will help communicate promotions, events, and unique guest experiences effectively.
- Support Marketing Initiatives – Assist in the development and execution of marketing campaigns, promotions, and partnerships that drive revenue across rooms, events, and food & beverage outlets.
- Analyze & Optimize Performance – Track social media and digital performance metrics, prepare reports, and provide insights to improve engagement, reach, and overall effectiveness.
- Collaborate Across Teams – Work closely with Sales, Food & Beverage, and Operations teams to ensure accurate, relevant, and timely messaging across all platforms.
- Stay On Trend – Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging digital tools to keep our marketing fresh, relevant, and competitive.
- Be Present for Key Moments – Attend events, activations, and peak service periods to capture real-time content and showcase the energy of the hotel.
Job Requirements
- Experience with social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and others
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills
- Experience with photography and short-form video content creation
- Familiarity with content creation and editing tools (e.g., Canva, CapCut, Adobe)
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Professional communication skills and attention to detail
- Creative mindset with a passion for hospitality and storytelling
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed
- Post-secondary education in marketing, communications, or related field is an asset
- Previous experience in hospitality or digital marketing is an asset
Additional Job Duties
- Develop and maintain monthly content calendars
- Coordinate website updates and online listings
- Engage with online audiences and respond to inquiries or feedback
- Assist with campaign planning and execution for promotions and events
- Track analytics and support monthly reporting efforts
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis
- Support partnerships and collaborations with local brands and organizations
- Ensure brand consistency across all digital touchpoints
- Perform other duties as assigned
