Full job description

Seeking an experienced assistant to the press operator of our Heidelberg SM 74 5-col printing press.

Expresses thoughts and ideas in a clear and effective way. Able to perform physical tasks. Work collaboratively well with others. Able to read Heidelberg console, cut stock, set-up plates, ink-up and wash-up. Mechanically inclined, able to diagnose general mechanical issues and relay this info to Heidelberg technicians.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the operation of the printing press.
  • Able to take direction from the press operator
  • Help to maintain the press in optimal conditions
  • Communicate with Heidelberg technicians on mechanical issues.
  • Follow safety guidelines.
  • Use judgment when responding to job-related changes.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $148.50-$339.45 per day
