About the Faculty of Media, Creative Arts, and Design at Humber:

About the Creative Talent Booking Support Coordinator Role:

Exciting career opportunity with the Faculty of Media, Creative Arts, and Design (FMCAD)!

The Talent Booking Support Officer plays a key operational role in the Creative Talent Booking Centre within the Faculty of Media, Creative Arts, and Design (FMCAD) Work-Integrated Learning Department. The position requires advanced coordination skills, strong judgement, and specialized knowledge of creative industry practices to support the successful execution of paid student job assignments across FMCAD.

The Support Officer oversees the full operational workflow of booking assignments, including intake, preparation, logistics, documentation, and financial processing. A significant aspect of the role involves coordinating payment workflows with Finance and FMCAD Operations to ensure students are paid accurately and on time, in accordance with Humber’s financial policies. This requires exceptional attention to detail, familiarity with financial processes, and the ability to interpret and apply administrative and compliance guidelines.

The incumbent coordinates projects that can originate from any area of the institution (i.e. academic Faculties or administrative departments) and with divergent goals (i.e. a band for special events, actors for a mock emergency health simulation, photographers for a wedding, etc.), As a result, the role requires advanced judgement; the ability to resolve complex, logistical issues; and the capacity to maintain high-quality service delivery for high-profile, paid creative engagements.
