About the Role

We're a licensed cannabis farm just outside Perth, Ontario, and we're bringing on 3 workers to get our clone crop established ahead of a larger planting in mid-June. This is hands-on, outdoor work with direct responsibility for a living crop.

You'll be working closely with our farm manager from day one.

What you'll be doing:

  • Receiving and inspecting incoming cannabis clones
  • Watering, monitoring, and managing clone health in preparation for outdoor transplant
  • Hardening off plants (transitioning from indoor/greenhouse to outdoor conditions)
  • Preparing planting rows, beds, and soil as directed
  • General farm maintenance and site prep ahead of the full planting crew arriving mid-June
  • Some heavy lifting and extended time on your feet

Who we're looking for:

  • Someone who has worked with plants before — greenhouse, nursery, landscaping, market garden, tree planting, or similar
  • Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in variable weather
  • Reliable. Seriously. This is a small crew and every person matters.
  • Able to follow direction, work independently when needed, and communicate clearly
  • Must be 19+ (legal requirement for licensed cannabis operations)
  • Must be legally entitled to work in Canada

No cannabis experience required. Previous experience with any kind of plant propagation, hardening, or transplant work is a real asset.

Schedule & Location

  • Start: June 1, 2026
  • Hours: Monday–Friday (some Saturdays possible), approximately 7am–4pm
  • Duration: ~4 weeks (potential to stay on through the main planting season)
  • Location: Perth, Ontario

What we offer

  • $18–$22/hr based on experience
  • Day-1 attendance bonus
  • Small team, outdoor setting, hands-on work with a real crop
  • Opportunity to continue with the farm through the season

To apply: Send a brief message telling us about any plant, farm, or outdoor labour experience you have. You don't need a formal resume

Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour

Benefits:

  • Casual dress
  • On-site parking

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Perth, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Work Location: In person
