The Role

We're looking for a creative, camera-ready Digital Marketing Specialist to join the AAE team for Summer 2026. You'll shoot across all three of our brands — capturing park action at APEX Adventure Plex, manufacturing and product content at Crazy Ape Extreme Equipment, and founder and team footage that tells the AAE story. You'll edit the footage and help build our presence across social media and the web.

This is a hands-on role with real creative variety and ownership — not coffee runs and spreadsheets.

What You'll Do

• Film and photograph action, guests, and atmosphere at APEX Adventure Plex
• Capture behind-the-scenes manufacturing and product content at Crazy Ape Extreme Equipment
• Produce founder and team footage that reflects the AAE brand and culture
• Edit vertical video content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts
• Create polished photo and video assets for social media and marketing collateral, including our websites
• Help maintain a consistent brand look and feel across all platforms
• Assist with content scheduling and planning under manager guidance
• Travel between locations as needed (valid driver's licence required)

What We're Looking For

• Education: Enrolment in or recent graduation from a film, new media, digital arts, or related program is a strong asset.
• Technical Skills: Hands-on experience with videography and editing (CapCut, Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, etc.).
• Environment: Comfortable filming on-site in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
• Creative Instinct: A sharp eye for social media trends and viral content.
• Independence: Self-motivated and capable of managing solo shoots.
• Mobility: Reliable access to a vehicle and a valid driver’s license is essential for traveling to various shoot locations.
• Portfolio: No formal degree required — show us your work!

Eligibility & Requirements

• Age: Must be between 15–30 years of age at the start of employment (per CSJ funding requirements).
• Legal Status: Must be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person granted refugee status.
• Work Authorization: Must be legally entitled to work in Canada in accordance with relevant provincial legislation and regulations.
