Job Title: Social Media Manager / Content Creator (Multi-Brand)

Salary: $17 - $25.00 Per

Hours: 15- 20 Hours Per week

Are you a creative storyteller who knows how to stop the scroll? We are seeking a versatile, highly organized Social Media Manager & Content Creator to take the reins of the online presence for four distinct businesses.

In this role, you won’t just be pushing out static updates—you will be creating dynamic, high-engagement content that builds genuine community. From producing sleek Instagram Reels and TikToks to crafting engaging Stories, you will be the creative voice behind four unique brands.

The ideal candidate has a sharp eye for aesthetic design, excellent video editing skills, and the organizational prowess to manage multiple content calendars seamlessly.

Location: Northeast Calgary, Northwest Calgary, and Southeast Calgary

Key Responsibilities

Content Creation & Execution

  • Multi-Brand Production: Plan, shoot, write, and design engaging photo, video, and text content for platforms including Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook.
  • Video-First Focus: Create, edit, and publish high-quality Reels, Shorts, Videos, and Stories optimized for high engagement and reach.
  • Consistent Output: Maintain a steady cadence of 1–2 high-quality posts per business, per week, along with active, daily/weekly Stories.

Strategy & Planning

  • Content Calendar Management: Maintain an active, organized social media calendar aligned with individual company goals, product/service launches, and seasonal campaigns.
  • Brand Voice Adaptability: Seamlessly switch between four different brand voices, aesthetics, and target demographics.

Community Management

  • Audience Engagement: Monitor all channels daily, respond promptly to comments and Direct Messages (DMs), and actively foster a loyal, interactive online community for each brand.

Analytics & Reporting

  • Performance Tracking: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as engagement rates, reach, and follower growth.
  • Data-Driven Optimization: Generate monthly reports highlighting wins, insights, and actionable strategies to optimize future content performance.

Trend Awareness

  • Stay Ahead of the Curve: Actively monitor emerging digital marketing trends, viral audio, new formats, and platform algorithm changes to keep all four brands relevant and ahead of competitors.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Experience: 1–3 years of experience in social media management, digital marketing, or a related field preferred but not mandatory.
  • Creativity & Technical Skills: Strong copywriting skills and proficiency in editing tools (e.g., Canva, CapCut, or Adobe Creative Suite) to design high-quality, scroll-stopping assets.
  • Analytical Mindset: Familiarity with social media analytics tools (e.g., Meta Business Suite, Sprout Social) and native platform insights to measure and scale content performance.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent verbal communication, high adaptability to shift between four different brand identities, and strong organizational skills to meet tight deadlines.
  • Portfolio Preferred: A portfolio demonstrating creative graphic design and short-form video editing skills (Reels, TikToks, or Shorts) you have previously produced.
