Job Responsibilities

• Respond to all incoming inquires (phone, email, walk-in) specific to the residential retail market segment.
• Maintain all customer points of contact (inquiry, estimate, follow-up, sale, scheduling, post install follow-up) with the required detail and timeliness maintaining the highest level of customer satisfaction.
• Prepare a formal estimate and communicate in the appropriate format and timeline to the customer with follow-up post-quote.
• Resolve all outstanding customer concerns to the satisfaction of the customer creating an exceptional and differentiated experience.
• Liase with the Service Department to coordinate the installation of product at the customer’s site as well as any warranty repairs.
• Complete customer site checks including measurement and review of options available to the customer on door and door operators.
• Participate in all trade show and applicable customer activities to support existing customer relationships and establish new one

Education and Experience

• Completed post-secondary education or equivalent experience
• Minimum 3 years in a customer service role with examples of success in creating a differentiated customer experience.
• Experience in the home building/renovation industry is considered an asset

• Customer first attitude.
• Positive team player with a willingness to complete a variety of tasks that could change in accordance with the requirements of day to day priorities.
• Naturally inclined to communicate, both verbal and written, with all areas of the business (customers, team members, other departments, etc.) ensuring customer requirements are consistently achieved.
• Willing to learn and understands Overhead Door offerings across a broad portfolio, including how to differentiate and sell value of various Overhead Door products.
• Meets all team deadlines and responsibilities, listens to others and values opinions, helps team leader to meet goals, welcomes newcomers and promotes a team atmosphere.
• Ability to successfully manage assigned tasks, time and priorities through to completion with limited supervision.
• Develops and maintains full knowledge of the competitive landscape and including the key differentiators of our products and services.
• Valid Alberta driver’s license and vehicle
