Experienced Pharmacy Assistant – Greely Pharmasave

Greely Pharmasave is looking for an experienced, dependable, and highly organized Pharmacy Assistant to join our growing community pharmacy team.

This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in accuracy, works efficiently in a busy environment, communicates confidently with patients, and can manage daily pharmacy responsibilities with minimal supervision.

What You’ll Do

  • Enter and process prescriptions accurately using Kroll
  • Prepare prescriptions, labels, compliance packs, and refill requests
  • Process third-party insurance claims and resolve billing issues
  • Manage incoming phone calls, prescription transfers, and patient requests
  • Maintain accurate patient profiles and pharmacy records
  • Order medications, receive inventory, monitor stock, and manage returns
  • Communicate professionally and compassionately with patients and healthcare providers
  • Support the pharmacist and help maintain a smooth, efficient workflow
  • Follow all privacy, safety, and pharmacy operating procedures

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous community pharmacy assistant experience is strongly preferred
  • Strong working knowledge of Kroll is a major asset
  • Excellent accuracy, attention to detail, and data-entry skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently during busy periods
  • Confident, professional verbal and written English communication
  • Strong customer-service and problem-solving skills
  • Reliable, punctual, mature, and comfortable taking initiative
  • Able to work independently while contributing positively to a team
  • Availability for weekday shifts and rotating Saturdays
