Full job description

Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Pharmacist to join our team. As pharmacy team, you will be responsible for dispensing medications, providing patient care, and ensuring the safe and effective use of medications. This is a critical role in our healthcare facility, and we are looking for a candidate with strong clinical knowledge and excellent communication skills. Responsibilities: - Dispense medications accurately and efficiently - Review medication orders for appropriateness and potential drug interactions - Provide medication counseling to patients regarding proper usage, side effects, and precautions - Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop patient care plans - Monitor patient response to medication therapy and adjust treatment as necessary - Ensure compliance with all legal requirements and regulations related to pharmacy practice - Maintain accurate patient records and medication profiles - Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and medication management processes Qualifications: - Bachelor's or Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited school of pharmacy - Valid pharmacist license in the state of Alberta with Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical management - Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment - Effective communication skills with patients, healthcare professionals, and other team members - Ability to assess patient needs and provide appropriate pharmaceutical care We offer competitive compensation and benefits packages for our employees. Pay: $63.00-$66.00 per hour
