Pharmacist – Downtown Calgary Shoppers Drug Mart

We are currently recruiting a pharmacist to join our downtown Calgary Shoppers Drug Mart team. This is a great opportunity for a pharmacist who is looking for a supportive community pharmacy environment with competitive compensation, schedule flexibility, and the ability to practise to full scope.

About the Role

As a pharmacist on our team, you will provide patient-focused care in a busy downtown community pharmacy setting. The role includes prescription assessment and counselling, minor ailment prescribing where applicable, injections, medication reviews, chronic disease support, collaboration with prescribers, and supporting patients with complex healthcare needs.

Our pharmacy serves a diverse downtown patient population and provides an opportunity to make a meaningful impact while working with a supportive team.

Qualifications

Licensed pharmacist in Alberta, or eligible for licensure with the Alberta College of Pharmacy
Injection authorization preferred
APA considered a strong asset
Community pharmacy experience preferred
Strong communication and patient-care skills
Comfortable working in a team-based pharmacy environment
Interest in full-scope pharmacy practice and patient-centered care
