Full job description

As a pharmacist, you will be working alongside the Medica pharmacy team and playing a key role in helping our pharmacy run smoothly, effectively & efficiently.

There is both a full time and part time position available.

Knowledge of Kroll is a strong asset , some experience in pharmacy software is required.

Candidate must have excellent patient care and communication skills.

Must be licensed in the Province of Ontario and in good standing with OCP.

Experience is helpful but not obligatory.

The pharmacist must be able to multitask and excel in a fast paced environment.

Summary

As a Pharmacist, you will be integral to providing high-quality patient care and ensuring safe medication administration. Reporting to the Pharmacy Manager, you will utilize your core skills in medical terminology and pharmacy software to support patient health outcomes. Your premium experience in acute care and pediatrics will enhance our services, particularly in a hospital setting. Strong communication skills will be essential in collaborating with healthcare teams and educating patients about their medications. Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive patient care by assessing medication needs and ensuring proper medication administration.
  • Utilize pharmacy software to manage prescriptions and maintain accurate patient records.

  • Collaborate with hospital staff in acute care settings, particularly in pediatrics, to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Stay updated on medical terminology and best practices to enhance patient safety and care quality.

Pay: $50.00-$55.00 per hour
