Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our cannabis processing team. This role involves operating and maintaining equipment used in cannabis packaging and manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will have experience in machine operation, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining compliance with industry regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and monitor machinery used in cannabis processing, including Kettles, Packaging, Filling, and Labeling equipment.
  • Set up and calibrate machines for optimal performance.
  • Troubleshoot, adjust, and perform minor repairs to maintain efficiency and prevent downtime.
  • Conduct quality control checks to ensure product consistency and compliance with company and regulatory standards.
  • Maintain accurate production logs, documenting machine performance and product batches.
  • Follow strict hygiene and sanitation procedures to meet state and federal cannabis regulations.
  • Work collaboratively with the processing and quality assurance teams to ensure smooth operations.
  • Comply with all GPP (Good Production Practices), safety protocols, and regulatory guidelines.
  • Assist with cleaning, maintenance, and setup of processing equipment.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Experience as a machine operator in a cannabis, food, and pharmaceutical environment preferred.
  • Basic mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills.
  • Familiarity with cannabis processing equipment is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lb.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification is a plus.
