Full job description

✨ START IMMEDIATELY ✨

Almond Butterfly Bistro is hiring a full-time DISHWASHER to join our back-of-house team!

Wage: $19.50/hr + tips (+$2.50-3.25/hr avg)

Must be availabe, at minimum, for all of the following shifts:
WED (1pm - 11pm)
THU (1pm - 11pm)
FRI (9am-4pm or 4:00pm-11:00pm)
SAT (9am-4pm or 4:00pm-11:00pm)
SUN (9am-4pm or 4:00pm-11:00pm)

35-40 hours/week.
Shift days and times may fluctuate. This is not a cash position.

Duties include:

- washing and sanitizing plates, smallwares, utensils, and bakewares;
- restaurant opening/closing cleaning tasks;
- following all Food Safety guidelines at all times (i.e. maintaining correct pH levels in the sanitization sink; following correct 3-compartment sink dishwashing method; etc);
- other tasks and duties, as assigned (i.e. light prep);

Requirements:

✔ You have a minimum of 3 years dishwashing experience in a commercial kitchen;
✔ You rise to challenges, and are solutions-oriented;
✔ You thrive in FAST-PACED environments, while maintaining a positive attitude;
✔ You are a mature, seasoned professional who works well with owners, managers, and teammates;
✔ You know how to work quickly and efficiently, and understand time management;
✔ You are seeking long-term, permanent employment (1+ yrs);

Please note before applying:
- you will not be using a mechanical dishwasher;
- dishwares are washed manually: experience with the 3-compartment method is required;
- there are two dishwashing stations you will be responsible for (two floors);
- you must have clear communication skills, and be comfortable using information technology (i.e. direct messaging; email; tablets; etc);
