Full job description

Matonabee Petroleum Ltd is searching for 2 Bulk Petroleum Delivery Drivers to join the team. If you are an experienced Class 3Q driver and thrive in a busy environment, we want to hear from you!

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Delivering fuel and Propane products to our customers based in Yellowknife and the surrounding area
  • Safely handle and secure packaged oil products and totes as needed for pumping off oil
  • Loading at bulk plant; offload at client sites
  • Demonstrate safe and defensive driving practices
  • Execute minor mechanical/roadside repairs as required
  • Complete logbooks and related administrative paperwork
  • Maintain ongoing professional communication with dispatchers and admin staff
  • Build a rapport of excellence by delivering superior customer service.

Position Requirements:

  • Valid Class 3Q driver’s license minimum, with a clean driver’s abstract
  • Minimum 3 years driving experience
  • Minimum 1 year experience handling Fuel and/or Propane
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) and time management skills
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Willing and able to work overtime and on-call as needed
  • Willing to switch between Fuel or Propane as needed for deliveries
  • Must pass a company-approved medical examination, including drug and alcohol testing.
  • 1Q License holders are welcome to apply; however, the starting wage will align with 3Q rates, and no additional pay will be provided for the higher qualification.
