Job Summary

Duties

• Lead and supervise store staff, including recruiting, training, and developing team members to achieve their full potential
• Manage daily store operations, including cash handling, cashiering, and POS (Point of Sale) system management
• Oversee merchandising efforts to ensure attractive product displays and optimal inventory levels
• Maintain excellent customer service standards by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly
• Develop and execute marketing initiatives to increase foot traffic and sales performance
• Monitor sales performance, prepare budgets, and manage store expenses to meet financial goals
• Conduct regular staff meetings, performance evaluations, and training sessions to foster a motivated team environment

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years proven supervising or management experience in retail or related fields with strong leadership skills
• Excellent communication skills in both English and bilingual abilities preferred for effective team coordination and customer interactions
• Demonstrated proficiency in merchandising, sales management, and retail sales techniques
• Experience with POS systems, cash handling, bookkeeping, and payroll processing
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a busy environment
• Knowledge of marketing strategies, pricing policies, and inventory control practices
• Ability to negotiate with vendors and suppliers effectively while maintaining positive relationships
• Skilled in interviewing prospective employees and conducting training & development programs
• Capable of managing budgets, performing math calculations accurately, and maintaining detailed administrative records
• Exceptional customer service skills with phone etiquette and professional communication abilities
• Multilingual skills are a plus for serving diverse customer bases effectively

Pay: From $22.50 per hour
