Reporting to the Health Services Superintendent, the Industrial Hygiene Advisor will assist with tasks related to industrial hygiene and occupational health. Based at the Windfall site in the Nord-du-Québec region, the advisor will work a schedule of 15 days on followed by 13 days off. Transportation, accommodation and meals are provided.

Duties and responsibilities

• Inspect various work environments;
• Identify industrial contaminants and other health hazards;
• Develop a strategy and plan sampling campaigns;
• Calibrate and use various specialized devices and instruments;
• Conduct sampling on workers and in their work environment;
• Analyze results and make recommendations on appropriate means to eliminate, reduce, or control worker exposure;
• Write clear and structured technical and administrative documents while effectively presenting data;
• Ensure compliance with laws and regulations related to industrial hygiene and occupational health;
• Develop objectives, actions, and priorities in industrial hygiene and occupational health;
• Find sustainable solutions to issues related to industrial hygiene and occupational health;
• Participate in the development and updating of the industrial hygiene and occupational health program;
• Provide training and information across departments;
