Full job description

Consider joining my team of self-employed Direct Support people dedicated to helping me live an independent and active life at home and in the Windsor/Tecumseh community. I'm 40 years old, live with autism, and need assistance with daily routines and activities.

I'm seeking someone who understands or is willing to learn about my communication methods and can work well with others. An energetic team member who enjoys outdoor activities & community events and can help with household responsibilities.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Ontario Driver’s license (G2 or higher)
  • Clean Driver’s Abstract
  • Must possess a reliable personal vehicle and willing to obtain a Commercial Auto Insurance Policy (eg. Permission to Carry Passengers for Compensation) endorsement.
  • References
  • Negative Vulnerable Sector Police Clearance
  • Intermediate or Standard First Aid CPR C AED – (training will be provided if necessary)
  • COVID- 19 Vaccinations

Hourly service range: $20.00 – $23.00 per hour (up to 25 hours available, plus extra for call-in’s).

Varied hours of support: PM (4-10pm), Overnight (10pm-9am)
