Job Details:

  • Location Saint John, NB, Canada
  • Salary $19.81 to $20.81 hourly for 30 to 44 hours per week
  • 6-month Probation Period – Stipend Payment $16.00
  • 3 Vacancies
  • Terms of employment Permanent Full time
  • Start date: As soon as possible.
  • Employment conditions: Day, Evening, Weekend
Qualifications

Languages

Multilingual

Education

Other trades certificate or diploma or equivalent experience

Experience with Family care giving.

Assistance with mobility, meals and exercises.

Credentials (certificates, licenses, memberships, courses, etc.)

First Aid Certificate; CPR Certificate; Certificate of Conduct; Personal Support Worker Certificate.

Training available at Care-Ed Learning.

Experience

1 to less than 7 months

Care for pets

Up to 9 kg (20 lbs)

Specific Skills

Shop for food and household supplies; Provide personal care; Prepare and serve nutritious meals; Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties; Launder clothing and household linens; Feed or assist in feeding; Assist in regular exercise, e.g., walk; Assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene
