Nous sommes à la recherche de personnel pour nos établissements de Moncton et de Dieppe.

Le PSW est chargé d'aider les résidents dans les activités de la vie quotidienne de manière sûre et bienveillante. En tant que membre de l'équipe de soins, il soutien et encourage les résidents à développer leur estime de soi, à promouvoir leur indépendance et à protéger leurs droits à l'autonomie et à la dignité.

Exigences de performance

  • Capacité à planifier, organiser et coordonner la prestation de services de soins
  • Aider à fournir une nutrition adéquate, fournir des repas et des aliments
  • Aider à l'hygiène personnelle, au bain et à l'habillage
  • Aider aux soins bucco-dentaires
  • Aider aux soins des intestins et de la vessie, en veillant à ce que la vie privée et la dignité soient protégées en tout temps
  • Aider les résidents à maintenir leur mobilité et à se déplacer en toute sécurité
  • Aider les résidents à participer aux activités sociales et récréatives de leur choix
  • Encourager les résidents à participer aux décisions et aux choix en matière de soins
  • Aider les résidents à répondre aux besoins fondamentaux de manière douce, courtoise et respectueuse
  • Observe et signale tout changement de résident au superviseur et/ou à l'IAA
  • Aider à l'admission, au congé et au transfert des résidents
  • Effectuer et consigner les procédures de soins selon les directives du plan de soins et de services
  • Respecte chaque résident en tant qu'individu et est conscient de son besoin de respect de soi et d'intimité
  • Fournit un soutien cognitif, social, émotionnel et spirituel
  • S'assurer que les pratiques et procédures en matière de santé, de sécurité et d'hygiène sont respectées et aider à maintenir les normes d'assurance de la qualité

Qualifications

  • Réussite d'un programme de PSW ou d'une formation ou d'une expérience équivalente
  • Démontre une efficacité de résolution de problèmes - résolution d'images fixes
  • Démontre une capacité à organiser la charge de travail et à réagir efficacement aux situations imprévues
  • Certifié en secourisme d'urgence et RCR
  • Excellentes compétences en communication écrite et verbale
  • Capacité à maintenir des relations interpersonnelles et d'équipe efficaces
  • Capacité à faire preuve d'empathie et de compréhension des besoins des aînés, forte orientation vers le service à la clientèle.

Job Summary

We are in the search of hiring for our Moncton and Dieppe location.

The PSW is responsible for assisting residents with the activities of daily living in a safe and caring manner. As a member of the care team they support and encourage the residents to build self-esteem, promote independence and protect their rights to autonomy and dignity.

Performance Requirements

  • Ability to plan, organize, and coordinate the delivery of care services
  • Assist in providing adequate nutrition, providing meals and nourishments
  • Assist with personal hygiene, bathing, and dressing
  • Assist with oral and dental care
  • Assist with bowel and bladder care, ensuring privacy and dignity is protected at all times
  • Assist residents to maintain mobility and to transfer safely
  • Assist residents to participate in social and recreational activities of their choice
  • Encourage residents to participate in care decisions and choices
  • Assist resident to meet basic needs in a gentle, courteous, and respectful manner
  • Observes and reports any resident changes to the Supervisor and/or LPN
  • Assist with admissions, discharge, and transfer of residents
  • Performs and records care procedures as directed by the care/service plan
  • Respects each resident as an individual and is aware of their need for self-respect and privacy
  • Provides cognitive, social, emotional and spiritual support
  • Ensures health, safety, and hygiene practices/procedures are adhered to and assist in maintaining quality assurance standards

Qualifications

  • Successful completion of a PSW program or equivalent training / experience
  • effective problem – solving stills
  • Demonstrates ability to organize workload and to respond efficiently and effectively to unexpected situations
  • Emergency First Aid and CPR certified
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to maintain effective interpersonal and team relationships
  • Ability to demonstrate empathy and understanding of the needs of seniors, strong customer service orientation
