Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Helper to support our culinary team in delivering high-quality food service. The ideal candidate will assist with food preparation, maintain cleanliness, and ensure smooth kitchen operations. Responsibilities

• Assist with meal preparation and food assembly under the supervision of chefs or kitchen staff
• Support food safety and sanitation standards by cleaning workstations, utensils, and equipment
• Help with basic cooking tasks such as chopping, peeling, and portioning ingredients
• Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed at all times
• Serve dishes to customers or assist servers during meal service as needed
• Maintain organized storage of ingredients and supplies
• Support the team in maintaining a clean and efficient kitchen environment

Skills

• Experience in serving, food preparation, or kitchen work is preferred but not required
• Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques
• Ability to assist with cooking and meal preparation tasks efficiently
• Strong understanding of food industry standards and restaurant operations
• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
• Willingness to learn new skills related to food service and kitchen management
• Prior restaurant or food industry experience is a plus but not mandatory

Additional Requirements

• Basic English communication required for kitchen coordination.
• Ability to communicate in Persian (Farsi) is an asset.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable working with meat and hot equipment (grill, ovens, fryers).
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 20 kg.
• Reliable and punctual with good work ethic.
• Availability for evenings and weekends.

Nice to Have (optional but preferred)

• Experience in Middle Eastern or Mediterranean kitchens
• Experience with high-volume service
• Familiarity with food portioning and prep routines

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $17.85-$20.00 per hour
