Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Dishwasher to join our team for the closing shift. This role is essential in maintaining a clean and organized kitchen and washroom environment ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and kitchenware are properly sanitized and stored. The ideal candidate will have experience in food service or hospitality settings, with a strong focus on cleanliness and efficiency. This position offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced restaurant or hotel environment, supporting the overall dining experience for our guests.

Responsibilities

• Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, glassware, utensils, and kitchen equipment at the end of each shift
• Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing areas, including sinks, counters, and storage spaces
• Follow proper food handling and safety procedures in accordance with health regulations
• Ensure all dishes are returned to their proper storage locations in a timely manner
• Run the closing restaurant by completing assigned cleaning duties and ensuring the kitchen and restaurant area (dining and washroom) is ready for the next day
• Adhere to sanitation standards and safety protocols throughout all duties

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality setting is preferred
• Knowledge of cleaning procedures and food handling safety standards
• Ability to work efficiently during busy periods while maintaining attention to detail
• Strong work ethic with a focus on cleanliness and organization
• Ability to work independently during the closing shift and follow instructions accurately
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends for closing shifts
• Hospitality or food service experience is considered a plus but not mandatory

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $18.50 per hour
