Medical Office Assistant in a Dermatology Clinic

We're Expanding!

Opportunity

Are you an enthusiastic, friendly and detail oriented individual with a love of skin care?

We are looking for 2 Medical Office Assistants (MOA).

Anticipated work days:

Position 1: Monday to Friday 8:00-4:30pm (5 days)

Position 2: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday 8:00-4:30pm (4 days)

The MOA will work at a beautiful dermatology clinic in the Tuxedo area.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a dermatologist and skin specialists who practice both medical and cosmetic dermatology.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Answering the phone and booking appointments.
  • Communicating with patients in a friendly manner.
  • Cleaning exam rooms.
  • Rooming patients.
  • Faxes, scans, autoclaving, etc.
  • Skin care product sales and consultations.
  • Help with billing and invoicing.

Experience, Education and Competencies

Ideally, you have a minimum of 2-5 years experience working as a MOA and knowledge of Accuro EMR software. Training can be provided for the right candidate with a good attitude and personality.

Post-secondary education with a MOA diploma or experience as a medical receptionist is an asset.

This individual should thrive in a fast-paced environment, self-motivated for on-going learning, and exceptional at communication.

Emotionally intelligent and understanding to help deal with demanding patients or disputes.

Must be comfortable with technology and keen to learn and use technology to run an efficient and effective clinic.

Pays attention to details and willing to ask questions.

Works well with others and able to execute under pressure and maintain composure.

You should be friendly, honest, and willing to take initiatives.

Salary will be based on the candidate experience level.
