Job Summary

Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Medical Radiation Technologist, where you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality imaging services to support accurate diagnosis and effective treatment. You will operate advanced imaging equipment, ensure patient safety and comfort, and collaborate closely with physicians and healthcare professionals. Your expertise in medical terminology and technical skills will help facilitate precise imaging procedures, contributing directly to patient care excellence. Duties

  • Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process and ensuring their comfort and safety
  • Operate diagnostic imaging equipment such as X-ray, Fluoroscopy guided procedures, BMD or other modalities with precision and care
  • Follow established protocols to produce clear, accurate images for diagnostic purposes
  • Maintain strict adherence to radiation safety standards and infection control procedures
  • Review images for quality assurance and collaborate with radiologists or physicians to ensure diagnostic accuracy
  • Document all procedures thoroughly, including patient information, technical details, and observations
  • Assist in the maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of imaging equipment to ensure optimal performance

Experience

  • Proven experience working as a Medical Radiation Technologist or in a similar diagnostic imaging role
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology relevant to radiology and patient care
  • Familiarity with various imaging modalities such as X-ray, CT, MRI, or ultrasound is preferred
  • Ability to interpret basic image quality issues and communicate effectively with healthcare teams
  • Certification or licensure as required by local health authorities or regulatory bodies in medical radiation technology
  • Demonstrated commitment to patient safety, confidentiality, and ethical standards
