Our Burlington dental office is a vibrant cosmetic and family dental practice located within Burlington Mall. We are dedicated to providing exceptional dental care in a welcoming and professional environment, focusing on patient comfort and satisfaction.

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Dental Administrative Assistant to join our dynamic team. Two evenings per week and some Saturdays required. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for patients, managing front desk operations, scheduling appointments, and ensuring smooth administrative workflows. Your energetic approach will help create a positive experience for every patient while supporting the overall efficiency of our dental practice.

Responsibilities

  • Greet patients warmly and manage check-in/check-out procedures with professionalism and enthusiasm
  • Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments using Open Dental software and RecallMax
  • Handle multi-line phone systems efficiently, directing calls and taking messages accurately
  • Verify patient insurance information and process payments using electronic dental records
  • Maintain organized patient records, including medical history and treatment plans, ensuring compliance with privacy standards
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and correspondence to support daily office operations
  • Collaborate with dental staff to coordinate patient flow and ensure timely service delivery

Experience

  • Previous experience as a dental receptionist or in a dental office setting is highly preferred
  • Strong knowledge of dental office software such as Open Dental
  • Familiarity with dental terminology relevant to dentistry and general healthcare
  • Proven ability to manage multi-line phone systems and handle busy front desk environments efficiently
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in record keeping and appointment scheduling
  • Office experience in dental settings is preferred
