Workplace Refreshment -Field Operator (focus on micro markets and office coffee)

This is an enticing opportunity for a disciplined high energy person wanting a great paying job driving company cargo-vans and representing the company professionally to customers. You will be servicing and stocking workplace refreshment stations and driving between them. You’ll own a route of corporate clients, keep their breakrooms looking sharp, and build real relationships with office teams who appreciate what you do.

If you already know vending machines or coffee machines then we will train you on micro-market operations.

40-44 hour full shift work. Monday - Friday shift. Early mornings.

Runs start and end near Yorkdale.

Pay is Salary (not hourly) and we pay incentives for route performance as well as multi-disciplinary experience. We also offer a benefits package to our staff.

• Vending, Office Coffee or similar delivery experience is an advantage but not a requirement..
• We will provide 2 weeks of training to make sure you are comfortable with the job.
• All runs start and end in North York near Orfus Road and Caledonia.

Basic requirements:

• An honest person with strong personal character;
• Ability to lift 50 lbs of weight (this role is great for a physical person looking to be active during the day).
• Ability to bend down and pick-up weight and reach up high to pack shelves.
• Professional attitude and ability to think on your own.
• Clean driving record and experience driving a cargo van.
• Clean Criminal record as check will be performed.
• Comfortable enough with technology to use a mobile app to update inventory and scheduling.

Responsibilities:

You would be responsible for:

- Stocking, and managing inventory/systems at micro market locations or smart coolers.

- Picking up supplies from our warehouse

- Maintaining and cleaning micro market locations on site visits

- Client communication and developing client relationships on site

- Stocking and servicing vending machines

- Stocking office coffee supplies and providing first level cleaning and service for coffee machines

- Following and developing operational processes

- Supporting new business development and installations

- Reporting issues and solving them with the team

- Driving time is 30-40% of the route and the vehicle used is a Cargo-Van or Cube-Van

Requirements:

- Positive attitude, great work ethic, ability and desire to learn on the job

- Physical work

- Strong oral and written communication skills

- Flexibility to be available to work on evenings and weekends and overtime as required

- Experience working with inventory and merchandising

- Experience in restaurants/retail/convenience a plus

- Experience with distribution, logistics, marketing, customer service, sales a plus

- Able to drive transit vans and box trucks.
