Summary

'We are seeking a talented Growth Marketing Manager to join our team in Huntsville. This role is vital in driving our digital marketing strategies, enhancing our online presence, and supporting our company's growth objectives. The position is based in Huntsville and offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a leading company in the construction industry.'

GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITY

The Growth Marketing Manager manages and mentors a team of CSR’s to deliver excellent customer service and a range of marketing initiatives that effectively drives sales and enhance Brooklin’s brand. This position accountable various marketing initiatives and the management of customer orders that increase sales of concrete (including all standard concrete orders and resale products) from customers; and ensuring regular and efficient flow of all related operations. The Growth Marketing Manager and the CSR team are responsible for assisting sales personnel for related product support, working with production staff to ensure customer delivery dates are met; as well as assisting the Sales Manager and Finance/Admin. Generalist on an “as required basis”. The Growth Marketing Manager is also responsible for direct management of the Customer Service teams at all BCP locations.

NATURE AND SCOPE

Details of Position

Marketing

1. Events – plans coordinates and works with Sales Manager and Finance/Admin. Generalist to execute.

2. Oversees social media, digital marketing to improve lead generation and online brand awareness

3. Works closely with Sales Manager, sales team & with Sales Manager and Finance/Admin. Generalist to create targeted marketing campaigns to generate new business leads.

4. Creates external communications, email campaigns, press releases and media outreach to increase sales and develop Brooklin’s brand

5. Works with Sales Manager to develop promotional materials, website copy

6. Works with Sales Manager and Finance/Admin. Generalist to maintain and continuously improve the website and ensure the companies social media presence is relevant and updated on a timely basis

7. Works with Finance/Admin. Generalist and CSR team to search and find work posted on construction bid and tender web sites.

8. Manage, and coach (on a daily basis) Customer Service Representatives ensuring a motivated and effective working environment.

Team

9. Work with Sales Manager and Sales team to manage and lead CSR group in Huntsville and Lindsay to deliver excellent customer service

10. Ensure CSR team is trained in Brooklin’s systems and products to assist customers and process orders in a timely effective manner

11. Maintain proper staffing levels, supervision and evaluation of daily workflow within CSR department to ensure customer needs are met.

12. To establish and maintain all department standards. This includes conforming to the policies, standards and best practices determined by Brooklin Concrete.

13. Responsible for continuous improvement of customer satisfaction by designing a constantly improving a customer-oriented service department.

14. Liaisons with customers and Brooklin Concrete personnel for issues that have been escalated, to ensure prompt remedial action when customer service issues occur.

15. Works with Finance team to address any issues related to delinquent accounts

16. Communicate with internal departments to ensure order efficiency

17. Consult with, backs up and reports to Sales Manager as required.

18. Ensure that all customer orders are received and processed in a timely manner,—participate in the appropriate meetings with Sales/Production staff to ensure all orders are on schedule

19. Spot check open orders at a minimum on Friday mornings.

20. Handle, document and address any service-related work related to quality or product delivered to site—includes maintaining and issuing warranty documents and conditions of sale documents as necessary

21. Work in compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act and Regulations and the Company Health and Safety Roles and Responsibilities. Promote Brooklin’s safety vision.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

1. Marketing initiatives effectively drives sales and enhance Brooklin’s brand

2. Monitor and maintain customer satisfaction in regard to meeting the timeline window for supply of products

3. Provide excellence in customer service to our existing customer base, improve on customer service, drive sales growth by looking for opportunities beyond our base and expand excellence in customer service to new markets

4. Be in close contact with all customers (dealers, contractors and retail customers) to ensure product supplied meets required project specifications and required delivery dates

5. Handle, document and address general customer complaints on a regular basis—resolve customer complaints and provide strategies to improve customer service in the future

6. Accuracy of work and productivity of team to meet or exceed customer satisfaction and all Key Performance Indicators—provide related data for monthly reporting to the Sales Manager

7. Perform annual Performance Reviews for all direct reports—meet with individual team members to set yearly Goals/Objectives as required and document and report review to the Sales Manager on an annual basis

FUNCTIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

1. Post-Secondary Degree related to Marketing, Business Administration, Communication and Sales

2. Supervise, coach and motivate employees

3. Previous customer service/business acumen

4. Leadership skills

5. Excellent communication skills—verbal and written; face-to-face and over the phone

6. Experience with public speaking

7. Previous sales/marketing experience and knowledge of local contractors would be a major asset

8. Proficient computer skills—Microsoft Office 2011 (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.), Infor software system.

9. Blueprint or interpretation of drawing knowledge, some knowledge an asset

10. Consistent professionalism expressed at all times ensuring that the company is portrayed in a positive manner

11. Goal oriented, results driven individual, with strong proven track record of meeting objectives and deadlines

Starting salary contingent on work experience and education
