Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our warehouse team. This full-time or part-time position plays a vital role in ensuring the efficient movement of goods, accurate order fulfillment, and smooth warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will have experience with warehouse management systems, shipping & receiving processes, and warehouse distribution. Prior experience with forklifts, reach trucks, and order picking is highly desirable to support our e-commerce and distribution activities.

Duties

  • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders using warehouse management systems such as MRP or AS400
  • Load and unload goods safely using forklifts, reach trucks, or manual methods
  • Prepare outgoing shipments by packaging products securely and accurately selecting items through order picking procedures
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and update warehouse management systems accordingly
  • Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure timely order fulfillment and shipment dispatch
  • Assist in stock replenishment, inventory counts, and cycle counts to ensure stock accuracy
  • Operate order picker equipment to retrieve products efficiently within the warehouse
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards during all shipping and receiving activities
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency

Experience

  • Previous warehouse experience with shipping & receiving operations preferred
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems such as MRP or AS400 is a plus
  • Experience operating forklifts, reach trucks, or other material handling equipment is desirable (certification preferred)
  • Knowledge of warehouse distribution processes, order fulfillment, and packaging procedures
  • Basic math skills for inventory counting, measurements, and calculations required
  • Experience working in e-commerce fulfillment centers is advantageous
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and stand for extended periods during shifts
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure accuracy in order processing

Pay: $35.98-$37.98 per hour
