Description:

Rassaun Services is a family-owned industrial construction contractor that's kept Ontario's plants running for 60 years.

We're hiring Electricians for our field electrical crews — machinery install; repair and troubleshooting, in industrial and processing plants around Southwesten Ontario.

What you'll earn (the whole picture): ≈ $87,360–$100,000/year base (=$42–$48/hr, ~40-hr week before overtime) — six figures well within reach once overtime and the package below are counted:

  • Apprentice → 309A journeyperson → foreman: $42–$48/hr.
  • + paid travel allowance for out-of-town sites — extra pay on top of your hourly wage (a daily per-diem; roughly +$5/hr on travel days)
  • + $5/hr on every overtime hour (on top of OT pay)
  • + RRSP (50% match)
  • + profit sharing,
  • + company truck, gas card, and phone

Add it up: a 309A journeyperson clears ~$50+/hr; our foremen run ~$59/hr all-in — about $122,000/year.

Your schedule:

Day shift, ~7am–3pm, Monday–Friday, overtime available.

Field work within 0.5 - 2 hrs of our Simcoe HQ.

What you'll do:

  • Install, maintain, and troubleshoot motor controls, VFDs, and control systems
  • Repair/install/test transformers, motors, generators, and distribution gear
  • Design control panels; install circuit power distribution to the Canadian Electrical Code
  • Daily checks/diagnostics (continuity, current, voltage, resistance); bend conduit
  • Respond to breakdowns; PLC programming an asset

What you bring:

  • 309A Certificate of Qualification or recognized equivalent, registered with Skilled Trades Ontario (registered electrical apprentices also welcome — ask about our apprenticeship support)
  • Solid industrial electrical experience; comfortable reading schematics
  • Valid driver's licence; legally able to work in Canada
  • Nice to have: PLC (Allen-Bradley/Siemens), HMI/SCADA, high-voltage, arc-flash, instrumentation
