Full job description

Peace Arch Veterinary Hospital is looking for an employee who has open availability .

We are looking for someone who is available to take initiative, is responsible & mature, can handle SOME aggressive animals, be enthusiastic, and have a willingness to learn. We are looking for someone who has experience but we are willing to train the right person.

Experience with Veterinary industry is an asset but not necessary. All applicants must be 18+ to be considered due to X-Ray usage in the clinic. Benefits after 90 days of probation.

Responsibilities

  • Assist veterinarians with animal examinations, treatments, and surgeries.
  • Handle and restrain animals during procedures with care and compassion.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in examination rooms and treatment areas.
  • Assist with laboratory procedures and sample collection as needed.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to pet owners and assist with client communication.
  • Monitor and record vital signs and patient information accurately.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
