Position Summary

Reporting directly to the General Manager, the Director of Health and Wellness is responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality, resident-centered care. This role ensures that care plans are personalized, goal-oriented, and designed to support residents' well-being, dignity, and independence.

Qualifications, Education & Experience

  • Current registration as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in good standing with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of NL.
  • Management experience preferred.

Skills & Abilities

  • Proven leadership skills with experience supervising a team.
  • Strong critical thinking and planning abilities.
  • Commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
  • Genuine passion for serving seniors and enhancing their quality of life.
  • Ability to lead by example and provide exceptional care.
  • Flexibility to accommodate residents' and organizational needs.
  • Effective problem-solving skills.
  • Commitment to confidentiality.
  • Strong communication skills for interaction with residents, families, staff, government representatives, and vendors.
  • Basic computer proficiency.
