Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Human Resources & Payroll Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with Canadian payroll.

Responsibilities

  • Manage payroll processing for two companies using ADP.
  • Oversee human resources functions including recruitment, employee relations, onboarding, performance evaluations and terminations.
  • Create documentation to support employee immigration efforts
  • Maintain accurate employee records.
  • Support change management initiatives and project management activities related to HR system implementations or process improvements.
  • Conduct employee interviews and assist in talent acquisition efforts to attract qualified candidates.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies while maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Assist with administrative tasks related to HR operations and payroll administration.

Qualifications

  • Familiarity with payroll platforms including ADP or similar systems.
  • Strong knowledge of human resources management practices including talent acquisition, employee relations, and training & development.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration across teams and departments.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Comfortable using Excel, Word, and Sharepoint

Pay: $55,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
