Job Overview

Dig-Con International Ltd. is looking for an experienced mainline paving crew. 7-8 positions are available. Join our dynamic paving crew as an Experience Paving Manline Crew Member and be a vital part of transforming infrastructure projects! In this energetic role, you will work alongside skilled team members to execute paving operations that lay the foundation for safe, durable roads and parking lots.

• Asphalt Paving Equipment Operators
• Roller Operators
• Milling Machine Operators
• Material Transfer Vehicle/ Shuttle Buggy Operators
• Screener Plant Operators
• Asphalt Paving Labourers

Responsibilities

• Operate paving and construction equipment safely and efficiently, as qualified.
• Assist with asphalt placement, raking, grading, and general paving operations.
• Support the crew in asphalt paving operations, ensuring proper material placement and compaction
• Load, unload, and move construction materials.
• Assist operators and crew members as required.
• Complete daily paperwork and other duties as assigned.

Experience

• 7-10 years of Paving experience is required
• Mechanical knowledge of heavy equipment operation and maintenance is a strong asset
• Ability to work in outdoor conditions, including heat, cold, and various weather conditions.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Reliable transportation to the job site.
• Extensive experience with asphalt paving techniques and finishing processes.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and moving materials as required.
• Commercial driving experience is a plus but not mandatory.
• Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with crew members.
• Knowledge of construction safety practices and adherence to OSHA standards
• Strong work ethic with the willingness to learn new skills in paving and concrete work
• Ability to work extended hours, evenings, and weekends as required.
• Willingness to travel to job sites, including occasional overnight assignments.

Expected hours: 40.0 – 50.0 per week

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Greater Toronto Area, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
