Our Shop Helpers are committed to delivering exceptional service to internal and external customers by performing maintenance, set up, and assorted duties for the service department. Responsibilities

• Perform minor mechanical repairs on equipment
• Assist Service Technicians in the repair of equipment
• Operate and maintain vehicles, tools, and equipment required in set-up and delivery process
• May do pre-delivery inspection, assemble and service all types of equipment
• Maintenance, cleaning and tidying duties for all areas of the shop and grounds
• Ensure safety regulations are followed by self and others
• Participate in training to increase skills and knowledge
• Build and maintain constructive co-worker relationships

Requirements

• Have a positive attitude & demonstrate a willingness to learn and succeed
• Be mechanically minded, and have experience performing service repairs/maintenance
• Knowledge of engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems an asset
• Farming background/experience an asset
• Knowledge and familiarity with John Deere and competitive products would be considered an asset
• High School Diploma/equivalent
• Ability to work flexible hours, varying shifts, weekends, holidays
