Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, transfers and medication reminders
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Prepare and serve meals according to clients' dietary needs and preferences
- Perform light housekeeping tasks, including laundry and cleaning
- Accompany clients to medical appointments and assist with mobility
- Monitor and report any changes in clients' physical or mental health
Requirements:
- Health Care Aide Certification mandatory
- Prior experience as a caregiver or in a similar role is preferred
- Compassionate and empathetic towards the needs of elderly individuals
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- CPR and First Aid certification
- Open only to applicants resident in Canada
