Full job description

Summary: Manager of Clinic Services is responsible for direct contribution of day to day tasks, supervision of on-site and virtual clinic service delivery. This position is for an existing vacancy.

Reports to: Sr Manager Operations, Managing Director

Location: GTA

Responsibilities:

Administrative

  • Directly manage daily operations and staff of clinic on-site and virtually
  • Collaborate with management and leaders in the organization
  • Work closely with Project Management Office on project implementation, analytics and clinic efficiency
  • Ensure compliance with Health and Safety procedures and practices
  • Engage clinic staff, physicians, management, vendors and stakeholders to align with organizational priorities
  • Establish, maintain, communicate and implement clinic and confidentiality policies
  • Identify processes and methods to improve efficiency and service quality
  • Continue to develop efficiency and productivity among all sites
  • Manage and further develop utilization of electronic record and IT systems
  • Assist and lead other relevant projects and duties

Human Resource

  • Work with staff to establish smooth and productive operations at clinic sites
  • Ensure effective staff recruitment, training and performance
  • Maximize physician, specialist, pharmacy and other allied health service delivery
  • Communicate and engage with physicians, providers, vendors and patients

Financials

  • Work with accounting team to monitor operational efficiency and adhere to budgeted staff ratio and costs
  • Identify and capture cost-saving opportunities in supplies and procurement process
  • Coordinate with accounting to prompt and accurate account receivables
  • Profit and loss responsibility for sites
  • Provide management reports, insight and recommendations on a monthly basis

Clinic Enhancement

  • Articulate operational challenges and develop effective strategies for continuous improvement
  • Provide clinical guidance and support to ensure patient safety and privacy
  • Ensure long-term operational and organizational sustainability at clinic sites

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 1 year management or team supervision experience - required
  • Background in clinic operations – An Asset
  • Excellent customer service and stakeholder engagement skills – An Asset
  • Experience with EMR and primary health care setting – An Asset
  • Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation – travel and driving required – to meet the needs of the business - Required
