Lynx Emissions specializes in the provision of DPF and after-treatment restoration services and aftermarket sales for all types of cars, trucks, mining equipment, and industrial machinery. Position Summary:

As a Delivery Driver and Shop Assistant, you will be responsible for conducting 70% of your time driving to designated locations to deliver clamps, gaskets, and other products to customers. Additionally, you will handle various tasks such as picking orders, ensuring accurate documentation, providing customer service, and supporting shop technicians with service tasks. Safety, accuracy, and efficiency are paramount in this role, as you will be representing the company while interacting with customers and handling inventory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive to designated locations for deliveries, accounting for 70% of work time.
  • Safely handle the picking of clamps and gaskets for deliveries, ensuring products are securely loaded for transportation.
  • Manage pack slips and filter reports, ensuring accurate documentation for each delivery.
  • Provide excellent customer service during field interactions and identify upselling opportunities.
  • Complete check-in sheets upon pickup to ensure accountability and accurate inventory tracking.
  • Communicate effectively with purchasing department regarding next-day inventory needs.
  • Maintain and update D4 spreadsheet with accurate and relevant information.
  • Support shop technicians with service tasks as needed.
  • Perform additional assigned duties as required by management.
  • Ensure strict compliance with driving rules and regulations at all times.
  • Follow all safety protocols when operating a vehicle and performing other duties.
  • Participate in safety training sessions and actively promote a culture of safety awareness among colleagues.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) repeatedly throughout the day.
  • Stamina and physical endurance to spend significant time driving and performing delivery tasks.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
  • Comfortable working in various weather conditions, including exposure to heat, cold, and precipitation.

Mental Requirements:

  • Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in documentation and inventory management.
  • Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers, colleagues, and management.
  • Problem-solving abilities to address unexpected challenges during deliveries or service tasks.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively in a dynamic environment.
  • Adaptability to changing schedules and job responsibilities.

Relevant Skills:

  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems and basic computer skills for documentation purposes.
  • Customer service experience with a focus on building positive relationships and identifying opportunities for upselling.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations related to driving and warehouse operations.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with colleagues from various departments.
